You may be exempt from those courses. Within 15 days after the academic programme initiates, you should apply for exemption by providing relevant evidence in relation to your previous studies.

You can have a meal on campus at the refectories or dining hall twice a day: once in the afternoon and once in the evening. Students who benefit from the food services pay a small amount of fee. The validity period of ERUYOS results is 1 (one) year.

Foreign students can transfer to another university with their GPA (not YOS), it depends on the university. Generally in the first term of the academic year, the distribution of the ID cards of the students who have newly registered at our University is made in the Faculty / College / Institute buildings where they are going to study. You must receive your student ID cards from the relevant units. Those who do not have a student ID card because of any problems, late registrations, etc. should come to the Registrar's Office and apply.

There are many dormitories near campus, some are state dormitories operated by the Ministry of Youth and Sport, some are private. After you register for a programme of study, you may apply to live in the girls' or boys' dormitory of Kredi Yurtlar Kurumu (General Directorate of Higher Education Credit Hostels Institution). Alternately there are private dormitories and there are also houses or apartments to rent in Kayseri.

Turkish C1 certificate is not obligatory for students who are placed in programs that provide education in a completely foreign language, but it would be better if they learn Turkish.

Students who have graduated from Turkish high schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education are exempted from the Turkish preparatory class.

You should come to Student Affairs and load it into the system before the academic year. If you reach C1 level in the middle of the year, probably you will have to wait for the beginning of the academic year, September, but it depends on the department, you may start your education in the second term. Some departments have English prep class, you should go to the School of Foreign Languages for applying to learn English if your English is poor and to be exempt from English If your English is good, you can have Proficiency Exam

Yes, the Turkish Proficiency Exam is held by Ersem at our university.

Turkish Language Education is generally given in Ersem (TOMER) at the university. Also you can have courses in a Turkish language training centre in the city of your university or other universities and cities.

You don’t register for Turkish courses on the Student Information System (OBİSİS), you can have Turkish courses in ERSEM, or any Turkish language learning centre.

Candidates whose Turkish level is A1, A2, B1, B2, register for the program, but they can't start their department until they have level C1. They join Turkish Prep Class and learn Turkish for a year. If they can't get the C1 level, they will be given one more year. If they don't succeed in learning Turkish in the second year, they will be dismissed from the department.

When foreign students studying in Turkey apply for a residence permit to the Provincial Immigration Administration, information about general health insurance is given to themselves.

It is a document shows one’s legal residence in Turkey. All international students who come to Turkey in order to have education must get this document. Residence permit is taken from the Directorate of Provincial Migration Administration of the city where students are studying. Students must apply to this immigration office most lately 1 month since the date of their arrival to Turkey. In the case of absence of residence permit, students face with punishment.

In order to study at our university, you must have applied and been settled.

You should go to Halk Bank for the first payment (for the first term) with your student certificate, passport, and your foreign ID number (if you don’t have this, take a temporary number only for paying it to the bank. The Student Affairs give you this number.)

Citizens of the Republic of Turkey who have completed their secondary education in a foreign country (other than the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus), including those who have completed their secondary education in Turkish schools in a foreign country (other than The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) are eligible to apply for the Associate Undergraduate Degree Programmes.

Foreign nationals who later become Turkish citizens and hold dual citizenship may apply to the Associate Undergraduate Degree Programmes. However, those who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey by birth must have completed all of their high school education abroad.

A foreign national who will receive a student visa must submit a “University Admission Letter” from a University in Turkey to the Turkish Foreign representative office. Student visa must be processed in the student's passport.
