STUDENT ADMISSION FROM ABROAD

TO ASSOCIATE DEGREE AND BACHELOR'S DEGREE PROGRAMS

(2022-2023 Academic Year)

 

A - GENERAL PRINCIPLES

1. Prospective students should be studying in the last year or a graduate of a school equivalent to Turkish high schools

2. They should have received a base and higher score from one of the following exams.

B - CANDIDATES TO BE ACCEPTED:

  1. Foreign nationals,
  2. Those who are Turkish citizens by birth and lose their Turkish citizenship and those who have a blue card,
  3. Those who acquires Turkish citizenship after being a foreign national (dual nationals).
  4. Turkish citizens who have completed their secondary education abroad. (Applications of candidates who cannot prove their entry and exit from the country through passport or security records will not be valid.)
  5. Those who are TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) nationals and have GCEAL exam results.

BASE POINTS ACCEPTED FOR APPLICATION

1. The base scores and necessary conditions of the following exams are required for application.

  1. State universities YOS exam result (except for online tests) score must be at least 50 points,
  2. At least 1000 total points from SAT 1, at least 500 points in mathematics,
  3. A minimum score of 21 in ACT (American College Testing) Mixed, Mathematics, and Scientific Logic,
  4. GCE (General Certificate Examination / A Level Certificate) At least 3 A-level Certificates, one of which is related to the applied program,
  5. I.B. (International Baccalaureate) Having an International Baccalaureate Diploma and having a diploma grade of at least 28 according to the department to which they will apply,
  6. A maximum of 4 points from the ABITUR (German Baccalaureate) exam,
  7. Having a French Baccalaureate diploma and a diploma grade of at least 12/20,
  8. At least 80 points out of 100 of the exam results obtained from all courses in Science (Scientific Stream) from the Tawjihi exam conducted in Jordan and Palestine,
  9. Having a diploma grade of at least 14/20 in Science (Scientific Stream) in the (Baccalaureat Libanais) Lebanese Baccalaureate exam held in Lebanon,
  10. AL-Saha-AL TAHANAWIYYA (Syria, Libyan Baccalaureate), Science (Scientific Stream), 180 points out of 240 for departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, at least 170 points for other departments,
  11. At least 480 points out of 750 in the score type of the program applied in the university entrance exam (GAOKAO) held in the People's Republic of China,
  12. A minimum score of 50 in the Turkish Republics and the Turks and Relative Communities Examination (TCS),
  13. Gold, silver or bronze medal winners in the International Science Olympics recognized by TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey) which participates in it as well,
  14. Diplome Debirestan and Pishdaneshgahi (Iran); High school diploma grade average (Diplome Debirestan) of at least 17/20 in Iran and the “Pisdanesgahi” final grade of at least 17/20,
  15. Kazakhstan National University Test; At least 90 points out of 120,
  16. At least 60 points from the Uan (Ujian Akhir Nasional) Exam held in Indonesia,
  17. Students who receive valid points from University Entrance Exams conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Centre,

2.The base scores of the exams not mentioned above are decided by the commission.

3. “Special Talent Examination” is also required to be taken by the candidates applying to faculties and colleges admitting students according to the results of Special Talent Examination.

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION:

  1. The original of the Examination Result document (YÖS, SAT, GCE, etc.)
  2. The original diploma,
  3. The original passport or identity
  4. The Bank receipt for the paid contribution fee into the announced bank in the announced amount (the receipt should include personal information of the candidate and the application fee of the rejected candidates will not be refunded.),
  5. photo sized 4,5 x 6,0 (photos should be taken within last 6 months at the front face, and in a form that the candidate could easily be recognized),

 

Important Note: As applications will be made over the Internet, the requested documents will not be sent by mail, fax or e-mail.

 

EVALUATION AND PLACEMENT FEE: two hundred and fifty Turkish lira (250.00 TL)

It will be deposited to the account number1241-06000018 at Halk Bank Kayseri Erciyes University Branch. IBAN NO: TR280001200124100006000018 (It will not be refunded.)

APPLICATION DATES: between 18-26 July, until the end of the working hours (17.00) on the 26th of July

AVALUATION OF APPLICATIONS

  1. Applications of candidates will be evaluated by the Commission.
  2. In applications for admission of students from abroad, a 10% country quota will be applied in the programs to be determined by the Evaluation and Placement Commission of our university.
  3. The base score coefficients to be used in the application will be determined by the commission. The percentage of the quotas in the placement process will be determined by the commission, taking into account the ERUYOS and other scores. The application score, which is created with the coefficients to be determined by the Commission, must be at least 95 points or higher for Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Law programs.
  4. According to the Higher Education Executive Board Decisions of the Council of Higher Education dated 11/12/2019 and 24/03/2021, a blue card holder or T.R. (dual) nationals will be given a quota of up to 10% of the quota in the Teaching, Law, Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy programs.
  5. The results of the Exams held in 2022 are valid. (online exam results will not be accepted)
  6. It will be sent an acceptance letter by our University to the candidates who are accepted. Candidates must obtain a “study visa” by going to the Turkish Embassy in their country (or nearest) with this letter of acceptance. A study visa is absolutely necessary to enter Turkey and register at our university.
  7. Evaluation of applications and placement of candidates are completely at the priority of Erciyes University. It is not compulsory to fill all the quotas, but the candidates who meet the conditions will be placed.
  8. Additional quotas may be announced when deemed it necessary.  In order to re-apply for these quotas, it is necessary not to have been placed in any of the previously announced quotas in 2022.
  9. The applications of the candidates who do not meet the application requirements will not be evaluated.
  10. Even if the registered candidates who are determined not to meet the application conditions, their registration will be cancelled later.
